Previous NextFlorio, a brand-new piece designed exclusively for this year's RHS Chelsea Flower Show, acts as a sculptural embodiment of plant growth.
Inspired by David’s never-waning passion for the natural environment and the importance it serves, the elegantly curving copper flutes of each layer morph skyward in mesmerising form, with the gilded uppermost flute giving off a lustrous warm glow, referencing pollination and its crucial role to our ecosystem.

A carefully considered patinating process of Florio’s copper exterior creates an intriguing synthesis of warm copper hues and dappled Verdigris, adding to the sculpture’s organic, plant-like aesthetic. Florio’s natural form blends seamlessly into its surrounding environment whilst also being able to serve as a focal point to any garden design.
LED lights can be integrated throughout so light gently illuminates each face, creating an extremely sensory and immersive space.
Hand crafted by an extensive team of skilled craftspeople in the Oxfordshire workshop, Florio is created from five copper flutes each created individually and supported by a central invisible column.
