When the Kempinski Hotel in Oman requested two sculptures at short notice, the incredible depth of our inventory allowed us to explore a number of options appropriate to the theme and needs of the hotel. Once they had been chosen, we could deliver and install them quickly.

Discovery

Early conversations with the hotel helped us recommend sculptures that would seamlessly tie in with the hotel’s themes of astronomy and the Arabic calendars.

Design

The client chose the tree-like Hydra and the moonlight-inspired Luna Mantle. Its delicate fretwork reminded them of the artisanal metalwork of the Middle East.

Development

Typically, our commissions take several months to imagine, design and install. However, the depth of our inventory and our professionalism made it possible for us to work with the Kempinski Hotel to select the right pieces and install them within the required timeframe.
