Frequently Asked Questions

We use marine-grade stainless steel to make all our stainless-steel water features. Incredibly strong with a lovely reflective quality, stainless steel is the perfect material for both form and functionality.

We provide all our clients with a detailed maintenance manual to help them keep their water features working well and looking their best. Our general advice is to avoid any harsh chemicals which can cause corrosion and instead use clean water and a soft cloth to polish the stainless-steel surface.

We use high-quality marine grade stainless steel to make our water features. This durable material, with a little maintenance each year, will resist weathering and corrosion.

There is a whole list of reasons for why stainless steel is a great material for outdoor water features. Water effects the patina of many metals but stainless steel is much more durable and corrosion-resistant. Stainless steel water features are also very weather resistant and the hygenic, non-porous surface stops algae and mold build up, making it easier to clean. Flexible and lightweight it can be shaped into most designs from simple stainless steel water blades to elaborate custom water features. Paired with subtle lighting systems, the metal takes on a mysterious appearance, adding drama to the space.

Stainless steel sculpture is an excellent choice for many climates but the grade – quality – of stainless steel has to change to make sure the metal is as weather-resistant as it can be for the site conditions. For example, we use marine-grade stainless steel when we know a piece will have to endure coastal weather as the salty air is extra corrosive.

Yes. The maintenance required may vary but stainless-steel designs are well suited to the home and the garden. For example, Chalice can work as a stunning centerpiece in a courtyard garden or a statement focal point for a grand entranceway. In both locations the metal will bounce light around and existing tones and textures within the space will be mirrored in its reflective surfaces. Stainless steel works with contemporary designs and bring a sleek contrast to more traditional spaces.
