SHIPPING
Our pieces vary so much in size and weight that we provide individual quotations for door to door shipping for each item. For all standard products — which covers most of the products on the website — the cost of packaging is also included.
You are equally welcome to organise shipping yourself if you prefer.
INSTALLATION
Detailed instructions are provided for the installation of each commission. Telephone advice is always readily available.
Where appropriate, and for an additional cost we can also undertake an installation ourselves.
For sundials, we take considerable care to ensure our that they are securely fastened to their plinth. The plinth is either cemented, bonded or doweled into position — or a combination of all three.
Typically, a sundial is fixed to a plinth with a stainless steel bolt hidden by a spacer shroud which is made of the same material as the dial. The head of the bolt is rendered inaccessible by a small cap which is bonded into place once the final alignment has been made.
