Visit a David Harber Showroom

David Harber at Focus/24

A glossy green and silver Orbis modern metal sculpture with curved, wing-like shapes stands indoors at Design Centre in London. Next to it, white text reads: “DAVID HARBER. Made of mystery, beauty and great British craftsmanship… As if by magic.”.

This autumn, David Harber ran a pop-up showroom at the international design and decoration show Focus/24, at the Design Centre in London.

The white, minimalist showroom perfectly set off the colours and shapes of the featured artworks.

A close-up of a spherical, lattice-patterned lamp or lantern reminiscent of the Geminus bronze and gold leaf contemporary abstract sculpture at Design Centre in London casts intricate shadows and warm light on a surface, with blurred green leaves in the foreground.
A large, circular torus stainless steel mirror, reminiscent of a contemporary abstract sculpture at the Design Centre in London, is mounted on a wall with tall green plants. It reflects the modern, minimal, and natural interior space.

Extending the Realm

There was also a lively panel discussion at the pop-up, exploring the relationship between interior aesthetics and exterior design, and how the the two disciplines collaborate to create a cohesive design.

Panelists:
Harriet Quick, Contributing Editor at The Financial Times’ How to Spend It magazine; Butter Wakefield, award wining garden designer; Anne Haimes, acclaimed interior designer; David Harber, sculptor

A panel of four sits on stools at the front of a bright room, engaging in discussion before an audience. Terra wall art in stainless steel accents the space with elegance as plants surround them and someone on the right stands, capturing photos with their phone.
