Receiving the Queens Award

We were ecstatic to receive our second Queen's Award for International Trade from Deputy Lieutenant of Oxfordshire, Brigadier Dennis Blease.

The Awards, which are initially announced to commemorate the Queen's birthday, recognise outstanding British businesses and represent the highest honour that can be bestowed on a UK company. To receive a Queen's Award is a huge honour for any British brand; two is a rarity and a testament to the exquisite craftsmanship and innovative design ethos of David and his expert team.

Since the inception of David Harber, our team has been committed to promoting and showcasing the excellence and quality which is synonymous with British design and craftsmanship, on an international stage” commented David Harber. 2020 has been a trying year for us all, for obvious reasons; however, our staff, including the exceptional team of craftsmen and women I work with on a daily basis, remain committed to producing the very best sculptures, sundials and water features possible. To win this award during a year of unprecedented circumstances is a credit to the entire company and the work we have put in over the last few years.

The Queens Award

To mark the occasion we received a guest visit from Brigadier Dennis Blease, who presented David with the award during a socially-distanced ceremony in our new workshop.

Brigadier Blease then toured our rural Oxfordshire barn and workshop, and saw our fabrication team in action working on a supersized sail sculpture for Port St Lucie in Florida, United States.
