A perfectly formed mirror polished stainless steel elliptical portal that plays with light and reflections to mislead the eye and stimulate the mind.
Impressive as a far off point of focus and fascinating when viewed close up, the Torus modern outdoor sculpture draws the viewer into the distorted landscape it reflects.
The Slate and Steel Torus is a variation on the subtle convex curves and central portal of the original sculpture.
It presents a contrasting mix of stainless steel on one side of the sculpture, and heather blue Welsh slate on the other.
Like the original Torus, this outdoor sculpture plays with light and reflections to mislead the eye and stimulate the mind — with the added organic twist from the rough slate side.
Dimensions for both sculptures: 100cm, 150cm, 200cm, 240cm and 300cm diameter.
