A Celebration of Art in the Garden

A Celebration of Art in the Garden is a new David Harber exhibition in collaboration with Landscape Architect, Michael Derrig, owner and founder of Landscape Details. This special event will be hosted in Michael’s manicured, multi-acre gardens at his private home in East Hampton from June 28th to August 31st.

From August 7th–10th we will be in East Hampton, accompanying private tours of the exhibition. These exclusive visits offer you the chance to see the sculptures up close in an extraordinary garden setting, and our team can give advice and discuss ideas to help shape your creative vision. We are also happy to arrange a private consultation at your property. Email enquiries@davidharber.com to make an appointment.

A shiny, circular torus stainless steel contemporary abstract sculpture with a hole in the center stands upright on grass among trees and lush greenery, reflecting the East Hampton garden and New York sky in its mirrored surface.
A large, round dark planet stone contemporary sculpture made of stacked black pebbles sits on a gravel path in a lush East Hampton garden, with blooming purple, white, and pink flowers and a stone bench in the background.

The exhibition explores the elemental interaction of light, landscape and water through contemporary design, and each piece has been thoughtfully positioned to emphasise the individuality of each artwork and the natural shapes, colors and textures that surround them.

It’s an exciting opportunity for discerning homeowners to experience David Harber sculptures within an extraordinary garden setting that melds the beauty of art and nature.

A bronze verdigris armillary sphere sculpture sits atop a white pedestal in a lush garden at East Hampton, New York, surrounded by blooming flowers and raised garden beds for a touch of contemporary elegance.

Mantle II will add a touch of gold in the rear garden. The Armillary Sphere will muse on the passing of time in the Tulip Garden. Near the house, Dark Planet adds irresistible tactility, while next to the pool, Torus reflects the sunlight glinting off the ripples in the water within its mirror-polished surface. The final piece is Flo, a rich tapestry of colors and hues to complement the ever-changing landscape around it.

Metallic leaf sculptures, the quiver stainless steel contemporary abstract sculpture, at East Hampton, gleam among real plants and flowers. A twisting tree stands to the right, whilst lush green foliage and dark shadows fill the New York background.

A Celebration of Art in the Garden runs from June 28th to August 31st, 2025. The exhibition is open by appointment only, and from August 7th–10th, you can book a visit accompanied by someone from the David Harber Team. Email enquiries@davidharber.com to make an appointment.
