Perera

This modern wall art, designed for an indoor swimming pool, exemplifies how color brings a playfulness to a sculpture. The powder-coated, mirror-polished, stainless–steel petals effortlessly link together, bringing movement to the piece. Almost like the flash of silver scales from a shoal of tropical fish.

Design details

Early conversations revealed that the client loved color. So, we worked on a concept to bring a bright playfulness to the piece by powder-coating a number of petals in the client’s chosen colors: burnt orange and dark blue.

Swimming pools are humid environments. To make sure Perera could withstand the conditions and continue to look luxurious for years to come, we crafted the piece from 316 marine-grade stainless steel.
