Large indoor water feature, Sofitel Hotel, Gatwick, England
Indoor water wall, Sofitel Hotel, Gatwick, EnglandSofitel Hotel, Gatwick Airport
BRIEF: Arora Developments Ltd. commissioned a pair of elegant indoor water features to enhance and divide public spaces within the interior of th hotel. Due to time constraints the project had to be designed, produced and installed within 40 days.
SOLUTION:Light, water and gravity blended in two spectacular indoor features, a large water feature we call the Water Tower and the groundbreaking Water Wall.
The Water Wall has endlessly variable colour as well as optical illusions created through the use of semi-reflective glass which makes the water seemingly flow simultaneously up and down the vertical wall.
“ Arora International have been very excited by the two water features David Harber Ltd. have introduced at the Sofitel, London Gatwick. They create a dramatic effect for guests entering the hotel from the airport, and form a strong centrepiece in the new public spaces within the hotel’s atrium.”
